“Peopleˮ TrainingIPS Inc.’s Implementing Process-Based Change WorkshopProcess improvement necessarily requires that people change their work, their work habits, and sometimes even the way they think about their work. Such change invariably triggers resistance, great and/or small. In the end, such “people” or organizational issues are the source of the most serious and significant barriers to successful process improvement. Resistance can be substantial even when staff members fundamentally agree with the need to do things better. If human and organizational issues are addressed explicitly and effectively, their impact can be greatly reduced or eliminated. Unfortunately, very few professionals have had the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills required to address them effectively. This four-day workshop provides effective approaches for addressing personal and organizational issues in process improvement. Typical of our workshops, exercises provide plenty of time to apply workshop content to participants’ particular needs and circumstances.
